TURBO/XR2 MODEL. THE APPLICABLE "UP-CHARGE, IF ANY, WILL BE DISPLAYED AT THE TIME
OF ORDERING. THESE TRANSMISSIONS ARE TYPICALLY SHIPPED BY GROUND FREIGHT, SO
THERE IS A SHIPPING "SURCHARGE" OF $450.00.
In
selling these Mercury Capri Transmissions / Capri Transmissions, we act solely as a "Middle Man" or
"Broker", and consequently our Vendor/Supplier warrants this unit as stated
above) and subsequently "drop ships" these Used Mercury Capri transmissions / Capri Transmissions (A/T or M/T) directly to the Buyer or his/her designee/shop. We endeavour to
procure these Mercury Capri Transmissions with the lowest mileage and best warranty, but each
unit is unique and will obviously vary in mileage and warranty depending on
availability and vendor used. These Mercury Capri Transmissions are no longer
available through Ford and is "obsolete". In addition, the transmission is a
"Special Order" item. Therefore as per our stated policies as a "Special Order"
part, you can not cancel an order for this Mercury Capri Automatic Transmission / Capri Automatic Transmission and/or Mercury Capri Manual Transmission / Capri Manual Transmission ("Special Order Items are Non-cancellable"). Furthermore as stated in the
policies, there are no returns, refunds, or credits on Used and/or special order
and/or obsolete items..."All sales Are Final" and "As Is";
www.ModernCapriParts.biz / Progressive Resources, Inc. (PRI) per se offers no
warranties and/or guarantees whatsoever with regards to these transmissions and
shall be held harmless in any case. The Supplier is solely responsible for all
warranty and delivery issues. If you experience any potential warranty
issues/problems after installation, and the Supplier requires the transmission
to be returned for warranty inspection, service and/or repair, you are solely
responsible for paying any, and all resultant labor, and return freight/shipping
charges (non-negotiable). You and/or your installer(s) and diagnosticians must
be compliant, cooperative, and responsive to all general and technical
inquires/questions/phone calls made by our Vendor/Supplier an effort to resolve
your problem(s); if the issue/problem can not be resolved remotely for any
reason, you must conform to all warranty related requirements per
the Supplier / Vendor (i.e. return of transmission for warranty inspection/service) or they will not honour said warranty. Again as stated in this item
description and Store Policies, there are no returns, refunds, or credits on
these special order & obsolete transmissions..."All sales Are Final" and "As
Is". Under no circumstances will Progressive Resources, Inc. / ModernCapriParts.Biz issue any refund, whatsoever, of any money paid to ModernCapriParts.Biz / PRI by the Customer's for said Transmission including S & H. Consequently, PRI's / ModernCapriParts.Biz's Customer is solely responsible for directly negotiating any, and all, remedies due to transmission failure or dissatisfaction with the transmission assembly directly with PRI's / ModernCapriParts.Biz's Supplier / Vendor of the transmission assembly (the warrantor).
If you experience any trouble with these Mercury
Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T), any, and all warranty issues/claims are handled
directly through the actual supplier who ships it (our "Vendor") not by Modern
Capri Parts. Therefore, any, and all, Mercury Capri Transmission (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) warranty claims must be presented and filed through our vendor. We are not
responsible for the Vendor's Mercury Capri Transmission (A/T, M/T) Warranty, its
processing or any warranty claims issues (i.e.: warranty claim denial or
approval) resulting therein. If you do have a Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) warranty issue, please contact the Vendor ("shipper")
directly per the Contact Information provided at the time of sale, and the
shipping label/insert. If you can not find the Vendor's contact information,
please e-mail us a contact information request (colin@moderncapriparts.biz) ,
and we will gladly re-supply you with it. Again, All Sales through this site or
by phone are final / "AS IS". There is NO Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) WARRANTY provided through, or by, ModernCapriParts.Biz / PRI per se; the
aforementioned warranty is provided by, and honoured, ONLY through our Vendor/
the /Supplier. Finally, we are not responsible for shipping/freight and or
replacement costs resulting from any said Warranty claim, and/or damage, or
loss, during shipping; the /Supplier is the shipper and warrantor is the sole
party responsible for resolving and remedying any such issues directly with the
recipient or his/her designate.
**PLEASE NOTE: The above stated warranty for this Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) will be voided
by the VENDOR / SUPPLIER due to this transmission being incorrectly
installed and consequently damaged in any way; it is the at the sole discretion
of our Vendor doing the "drop ship" to make any
said Warranty determinations. Therefore, it is highly recommended that a duly
Certified Automotive Technician, and/or Transmission Specialist, install
this Transmission.
Finally, the buyer is responsible for inspecting the Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) upon receipt and immediately reporting any damage to the
freight/trucking company, the "originating shipper", and Modern Capri Parts. The
buyer must comply with any procedures, and complete and submit any damage claim
document(s) required within the 48 hours of receipt. If the buyer, and his/her
representative/recipient, fails to report said damage of the Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) within 24 hours of
receipt, he/she forfeits any future damage claim. In addition, any Supplier's/Vendor's warranty for the Mercury Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) / Capri Transmissions (A/T, M/T) may be voided due to said damage. This
transmission will be drop shipped by our vendor, and it must be shipped via
Ground Freight (via Freight Truck on a pallet); a shipping surcharge will
therefore apply and be shown during checkout.
