This Mercury Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter / Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter is a high quality, Mercury Capri, "Mushroom" style, low profle, cleanable Cold Air Intake Air Filter for use with the Mercury Capri Air Flow Adapter.
This Mercury Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter / Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter is available in Red and is constructed out of high quality stainless steel to keep it from rusting within a cold air or high moisture mounting location. This Mercury Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter / Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter will require the purchaser to fabricate a mounting bracket to secure the Mass Air Flow Sensor with Adapter and filter in the desired location. This mounting bracket can be fabricated using the lower portion of the Capri's air box, or from "scratch" by using other materials. The purchase of additional piping / piping fabrication materials may be required if the installer wishes to relocate the assembly in an alternate location beyond the limitations of the factory set-up. This Mercury Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter / Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter is designed for both horsepower and torque gains while utilizing a compact design. This Mercury Capri Cold Air Intake Air Filter "set-up" works by allowing the engine to draw more, potentially cooler/denser air, into your Capri engine's combustion chamber. As a result, you should experience improved throttle response and more horsepower. The Mercury Capri mass air flow sensor adapter ( http://apps.agenne.com/ProductDisplay.cfm?id=14408&cid=148 ) will bolt on to the stock mass air flow sensor typically using the existing nuts.
