This custom made Modern Capri Part's High Performance 2.25" Downpipe is is a direct "bolt-on" high performance accessory, and it comes COMPLETE with both the front "dohnut" and rear triangular exhaust specialized 2.25" gaskets. We use a custom bent, aluminized steel, to resist rust and corrosion. This Mercury Capri High Performance 2.25" Downpipe leads directly from the exhaust manifold to the Catalytic Converter which dramatically increases flow. This increased flow allows the engine to "breath better resulting in potentially more horsepower and torque throughout the RPM range! In addition, if you drive an XR2/Turbo model, this increased flow can significantly allow the turbo to "spool-up" faster and help reduce turbo "lag".
